When is the best time to visit Yas Island?

Year-round sunshine means the UAE enjoys a tropical desert climate. During the winter and spring months (October to May) temperatures average a thoroughly pleasant 23°C/73°F with very little rainfall. This is undoubtedly our busy season, when many are looking to escape freezing temperatures back home and enjoy the sunlight and warmth of the UAE. Summers can reach highs of 45°C/104°F, but the island is well equipped with air conditioning systems, indoor entertainment and plenty of shaded areas.

How do I get around Yas Island?

Our complimentary shuttle bus service, Yas Express, connects all the major attractions on the island. The Blue Route runs from 9am to 9pm and connects you to Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi, Yas Plaza Hotels, Yas Central, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi. The Red Route runs from 9am to 2am and connects guests from all the hotels to Yas Marina, Yas Links and Yas Beach.
